Tom Robustelli

 

Born, raised and currently living in Stamford, Tom’s love for for the city is evident in both his professional and personal life. The son of local NFL hall of famer, New York Giant and entrepreneur Andy Robustelli, Tom is driven by a deep love of the Stamford area that’s resulted from his own experience as a father of two, coach, substitute teacher and business leader in this great city as well as his family’s legacy.

 

From 1979-2006, as Vice President of Finance at Stamford-based Robustelli World Travel, he worked tirelessly to grow the company, until it was eventually acquired by HRG Worldwide, a London-based worldwide leader in Travel. From 1990-2006 he leased commercial and residential properties as part of the Robustelli Realty team when he acted as Controller and Property Manager. It was during this time that Tom fell in love with the world of real estate.

 

Tom graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Economics/Accounting. His skills in these areas has benefitted not only Robustelli Travel, but many other local businesses for whom he has lent his expertise as an accountant and bookkeeper, including Nizolek Landscaping, Sport ‘n Life and Hilton Hotels.

 

Tom has been happily married to his wife, Terry, a nurse at Stamford Hospital, since 1987. He has two daughters, Nicole and Megan, both graduates of Stamford’s public schools.
